Who we are

This website is operated by Scrumptious Consultancy Limited (“we”, “us”), trading as SC Fire Risk and SC Advisory Group. What we collect and why

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to send us through our enquiry/contact form: your name, your email address and/or phone number, and the content of your message. We use it solely to respond to your enquiry and to discuss the services you have asked about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and where relevant taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not use your details for marketing without your consent, and we do not sell your data.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not run third-party analytics that profile you. Only cookies strictly necessary for the site to function are used. We measure page views using a privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics service that does not build a profile of you or follow you across other websites. The fonts used on this site are served from our own domain, not from a third-party font service. Because we do not track you, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add analytics or non-essential cookies that do track you, we will update this section — and ask for your consent — before that change goes live.

The one exception is the map, and it only loads if you ask it to. Our contact section can show a Google Map of our office. Google sets a cookie on your device when that map loads, so we do not load it automatically. You will see a placeholder with our address and a “Load Google Map” button, and the map — and Google’s cookie — is only requested after you click it. If you never click it, no Google cookie is set. The address is shown in plain text either way, and there is a plain link to Google Maps that opens in a new tab, so you never have to load the embedded map to find us. Once loaded, your use of the map is subject to Google’s privacy policy.

Who we share it with

We share your enquiry only with the people at Scrumptious Consultancy who need it to respond, and with the service providers who help us operate the site and deliver our email (for example Vercel, who host this website, and Amazon Web Services, who deliver our email). These providers act on our instructions and do not use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@scadvisorygroup.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always be on this page.
